Calling all large breasted sewists!
In this one day masterclass we’ll focus on how to perform an FBA on both darted and princess-line bodices. We’ll practise the methodology using small scale patterns until you feel comfortable with the process (it is very ordered!), then we’ll put all your learning into practice on your chosen pattern.
During the day we will cover how to:
Note: you will not be sewing a finished garment, but will be sewing a toile (test bodice). The effect on sleeves will not be covered on the day, but we will discuss if time.
Experience
Confident beginner/Intermediate/Advance sewists
You should have made a number of garments from sewing patterns and be familiar with using and reading patterns. Experience of making simple pattern adjustments for fit would be useful but not essential.
Materials and Equipment
The following can be bought or borrowed on the day, but you can bring your own:
Maximum class size: 6 students
Tea and coffee are available throughout the day, but please bring a packed lunch.
