Easy Weekend embodies all that a casual, unscheduled Summer weekend has to offer. With three great substrates including Quilter’s Cotton, Canvas and Needlecord, watch the natural world unfold from the inside out, from a thriving houseplant to a flock of birds gliding overhead, then transition the day to night with an evening stroll and the glimpse of a pink moon rising. Easy Weekend wants you to relax into life’s overlooked things, appreciating every natural wonder, big or small.
Betsy Siber is an illustrator and surface designer based in Chicago who loves to draw quirky characters, bold midcentury-inspired shapes and hand-drawn lines that appeal to colour-lovers of all ages. She lives and works in the Wicker Park neighbourhood in a 120-year-old coach house with her artist husband, two inquisitive and energetic young daughters, and a cat named Dot. She finds inspiration in vintage textiles and travel posters, her daughter’s lego sculptures, and neighbourhood wall murals.
